Summer Crosley

Summer Crosley attended OLMC from 1984 to 1993.  She currently lives in Santa Monica, California and is an International Model.  Her parents are Pat and Carole McCuan.  Her sister is Marleen Hunter.  Summer shares these words about the school:  "I believe that anyone who attends OLMC will get quality eduction that will last a lifetime!"

Gary Lukuc

From August 1967 to May of 1975, Gary Lukuc was a student enrolled at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel School.  Gary is an Accounting/Manager for an insurance company and lives in Herrin, Illinois.  He Married Jane Hardcastle and they have a daughter, Lexi, who is in 7th grade this year at OLMC.  Gary recollects:  "Our graduating class in 1975 had only 18 students, 4 girls, 14 boys.  Many of us have sent (or are sending) our children to OLMC."

Gregory Webb

Gregory Webb attended OLMC School from 1958 until 1960.  He is a retired Chemist and resides in St. Louis, Missouri.  Gregory married and had two sons, one of which is deceased.  Gregory shares the following special memories:  "The nickname of the school was St. Mary's.  The principal was Sr. Paulanna SSND--a great teacher.  Remember Msgr. DeGasperi very well.  Good days, good times, great memories, cinders on the playground and hitting softballs to the top of the gym."  Gregory invites people to contact him at grwebb0@gmail.com.

Colleen Rose Hall

For seven years, Colleen (Rose) Hall was a student at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel School from September of 1958 to May of 1965.  Colleen is a housewife and mother of two children.  She lives in Herrin, Illinois with her husband, Jerry, who is also retired.  She has one son, Jeremy, and a daughter named Amanda.  Colleen is blessed with three grandchildren.

Thomas C. Gualdoni

In 1945, Thomas C. Gualdoni began school at Our Lady of Mount Carmel and finished in 1953.  Thomas is a retired Coal Miner and he lives in Herrin, Illinois.  He married and has two daughters, three grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter.

Joseph Michael Mattingly

Enrolled at OLMC from 1984 to 1992, Joseph Michael Mattingly went on to become a Nurse.  He lives in Energy, Illinois with son, James, who is almost seven years old and a one year old daughter, Emily.  Joseph shares this special memory about his time as a student:  "My very first basketball game in 5th grade was at Crab Orchard.  Coach Lukens put me in near the end of the game at point guard.  I remember dribbling the ball down the floor with just a minute or so remaining.  Our team hadn't scored any points yet.  As our team came down the floor, I shot the ball near the top of the key and it banked off of the backboard and went into the basket to score the only points our team scored.  I vividly remember the crowd cheering loudly when that happened.  It was great!"

Renalda "Rennie" Berra

Beginning in first grade, Renalda "Rennie" (Berra) Hughes was enrolled for eight years at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel School until 1952.  She is a retired Registered Nurse and resides in Herrin, Illinois.  She had one son, Dr. Chris Hughes who practices dentistry.  Renalda has two grandchildren, Marlo and Sofia.  Her son and grandchildren have also attended OLMC.
